"Best Italian in Springfield. The pizza is awesome. Try the arugula salad with pine nuts. Fantastico! Bravo Bruno!"Jeff Springfield.

"Dine at Bruno's Restaurant for fine fare and you'll think you've made a trip to Italy. Authentic Southern Italian cuisine made by a guy who's actually been there. A bar area upstairs allows you to enjoy dining and dancing. Don't worry -- if you have two left feet they have an instructor on hand on Wednesday nights."
The mozzarella ciliegine salad from Bruno’s Restaurant (416 South Ave., Springfield, 417-866-0007, is a delicious dish if you’re a fan of lemon. The lemon olive oil dressing is very tart with a bright summery flavor that blends perfectly with the salad’s mild and creamy mozzarella balls. The slightly spicy arugula, the crunchy celery and the juicy tomatoes are delicious complements.

"Brunos is one of my favorite places for Italian food here in Springfield. They have great lunch/dinner specials that are very reasonable and the servers are some of the nicest in town! I've been there about 4 times and have been very satisfied on all my visits. My favorite entree is the veal and portabella stuffed ravioli.
If you're in the mood for a drink, make sure to check out the beautiful bar upstairs!!"

"It's undeniably delicious. One of the antipastas (appetizers) my companion and I tried was the phenomenal Involtini di Capellini: long, thin slices of eggplant rolled around angel hair pasta smothered in tomato sauce, topped with a dollop of creamy bechamel sauce and baked in the brick oven.
